DevOps Engineer

Key role within our DevOps team and will involve working as part of a collaborative agile team in a shared services DevOps organization to support and deliver innovative technology solutions that directly align with the delivery of business value and enhanced customer experience. The primary objective is to provide support to Amazon Web Services hosted environment, ensure continuous availability, working closely with development teams to ensure best value for money, and effective estate management
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Good understanding of Travis CI, AWS Services, Docker Containers
- Knowledge on deploying PHP application
- Experience designing and building web environments on AWS, which includes working with services like VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, EC2, Elastic Bean stalk, ELB, NLB, RDS-MySQL, Route53, VPN, EFS, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda Functions, Amazon Cloud-front
- Good background in Linux/Unix administration.
- Strong notions of security best practices (e.g., using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.).
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems
- Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
- Experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications
- Proficiency in script development and scripting languages (Shell)
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
Any graduate or post-graduate degree (BE / B.Tech / ME/ M.Tech / MCA / MS)
Experience:
6-12 yrs
Specific Skills:
DevOps, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Docker.
