As a DevOps Leader, you help leading customers with their challenges in the field of DevOps. Think of coaching teams with the use of new tools, but certainly also of technically, strategically and organizationally advising management on how to set up their software delivery. You assess, advise, implement and take teams and the rest of the organization along with the solution.
Key role within our DevOps team and will involve working as part of a collaborative agile team in a shared services DevOps organization to support and deliver innovative technology solutions that directly align with the delivery of business value and enhanced customer experience. The primary objective is to provide support to Amazon Web Services hosted environment, ensure continuous availability, working closely with development teams to ensure best value for money, and effective estate management
Responsibilities and Duties:
- 10+ years’ experience in delivering and operating large scale highly available distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using Terraform and Terragrunt
- Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed applications, such as orchestration and containers, and Kubernetes
- Experience building multi-tenant SaaS model infrastructure hosted in AWS
- Experience with Observability (Monitoring, Logging, Alerting, Tracing) best practices and familiarity with one or more open-source projects (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Experience with Configuration Management Tools – Ansible
- Experience ensuring DevOps pipelines and software development process complies with required security standards (GitOps).
- Exposure to database systems/techniques (RDS, Aurora, Postgre) – tuning, monitoring, scaling, backups and archival
- Experience in optimizing the infrastructure cost
- Have experience of collaborating with distributed agile teams to deliver successful initiatives and enhancements
- Experience of partnering with Development teams to support Operational Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
Any graduate or post-graduate degree (BE / B.Tech / ME/ M.Tech / MCA / MS)
Experience:
10+years
